Martha M.L. Fleck, 75, of 29 Franklin Street, Tiffin, died at 5:11 a.m., January 6, 2004, at St. Francis Nursing Home. She was born on August 26, 1928 to Lawrence F. and Margaret L. (Bour) Fleck, in Tiffin. She was divorced from Bartholomew Ruggierro. He died in May, 1994.
She is survived by one brother, Richard F. (Anna) Fleck, of Tiffin, and two sisters, Ida (C. Thomas) Schauder, of Clearwater, Florida, and Anne (Richard) Steinmetz, of Tiffin.
She was preceded by one brother, James P. Fleck.
Ms. Fleck was a retired Clerk at San-Mar Pharmacy and had worked at LaSalle’s Department Store and Good’s Office and Supply. She was an avid Cleveland Indians fan, enjoyed going on Allen Eiry Senior Citizen Day Trips, puzzle making, and hooking rugs. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and was a 1948 Calvert High School graduate.
There will be a wake service at the funeral home on Thursday, at 3:30 p.m. The Rosary will be recited at the church 15 minutes prior to the Mass. Rev. Timothy Ferris will officiate the Mass.
Burial will take place in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery immediately following the Funeral Mass.
Contributions may be made to Tiffin/Seneca County Humane Society, St. Francis Home or to the American Lung Association of Tiffin, in care of the funeral home.
