Martha M. Kuhn, 88, of New Riegel, died at 2:30 am Thursday, May 26, 2016, at St. Francis Home, Tiffin.
She was born February 4, 1928, in Seneca County, to Marion and Agnes (Reinhart) Frankart. She married Charles J. Kuhn October 16, 1948 in St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria. He died May 31, 1988.
Survivors include seven sons, Peter (Gisele) Kuhn of Chesterfield, Missouri, Joseph (Alison) Kuhn of Findlay, Donald (Brenda) Kuhn of New Riegel, Timothy (Lou Ann) Kuhn of Tiffin, William (Paula) Kuhn of Alvada, Daniel (Lisa) Kuhn of Tiffin, and Ronald Kuhn of Tiffin; six daughters, Barbara (Jeffrey) Muntz of New Riegel, Joyce (Francis) Vogel of Howard, Norma (John) Schalk of New Riegel, Carol (Jerry) Vaughn of Bascom, Margaret (Kenneth) Lucius of Upper Sandusky, and Diane (Randy) Riele of Upper Sandusky; 35 grandchildren, three step grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren, eight step great grandchildren, one great great grandchild; six sisters, Dolores (Werner) Cramer of Fostoria, Shirley (Alan) Ryman of Fostoria, Helen (Don) Taylor of Upper Sandusky, Mary (Mike) Tiell of Fostoria, Alice Daugherty of Fostoria, and Pauline (Aubrey) Hess of Bloomville; four brothers, Bernard (Joyce) Frankart of New Riegel, Albert (Janet) Frankart of Fostoria, James (Judy) Frankart of Warrenton,Virginia, and Paul (Carol) Frankart of Fostoria.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a sister, Mildred Frankart, two infant sisters, Barbara Ann and Bernadette Frankart, a brother, Leonard Frankart, and two grandchildren, Danielle Vaughn and Ian Kuhn.
Mrs. Kuhn was a 1946 graduate of St. Wendelin High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of All Saints Parish, New Riegel, and its Rosary Altar Society, and the New Riegel Moose Lodge.
Visitation will be 3 to 8 pm Monday, May 30, 2016 at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419)447-3113. Visitation will also be Tuesday, May 31, from 10 am until time of Funeral Mass at 11 am, at All Saints Parish, New Riegel, with Rev. Timothy Kummerer officiating. Burial will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery, New Riegel.
