Marshia J. Elchert, age 62, of Tiffin, Ohio, died May 30, 2001 at Mercy Hospital, Tiffin, Ohio. She was born to Wilbur and Mary Elizabeth (McGuire)Huth. She married Charles R. "Bump" Elchert on July 13, 1957 at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria, Ohio. He survives in Tiffin. She is also survived by 1 son, Richard Elchert of Tiffin, 4 daughters, Mrs. Tim (Diane) Tiell, Mrs. Perry (Helena) Woelke, Mrs. David (Sharon) Conley all of Tiffin, Ohio and Mrs. Daniel (Beth) Dell of New Riegel, Ohio, 2 grandchildren, Angela Kopp and Tyler Tiell and 2 great grandchildren, Hailey Elizabeth Cortez and Helena Jean Marie Cortez. She is preceded by a son Edmund Ley Elchert, 1 brother, Charles Huth, and 1 sister Marilyn Petit.
Mrs. Elchert was a 1957 St. Wendelin High School graduate, a homemaker and devoted wife and mother, and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery immediately following the Funeral Services. The Rosary will be recited 15 minutes prior to the Funeral Mass on Saturday, June 2, 2001. Contributions may be made to Community Hospice Care or to the Donor's Choice.
