Mark Lee Ward, 55, of Tiffin, died at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo.
Mark was born September 14, 1961, at Travis Air Force Base, Fairfield, California to James and Patricia (Bradshaw) Ward. He married Sue Paulus and they later divorced.
Survivors include two sons, Mitch Ward of Findlay, James Ward II of Columbus; a daughter Ashley (Mager) Riley of Findlay; two brothers, Michael (Kay) Ward of Flowery Branch, Georgia, Marty (Christine) Ward of Tiffin; three sisters, Angela Ward of Tiffin, Jackie Ward of Tiffin, Cheryl Ward of Ravenna; and his ex-wife Sue Ward of Tiffin; a sister-in-law Melody (Rex) Woessner of Tiffin; good friends, Jim (Stacy) Stark and Smiley (Renee) Wertz all of Tiffin; plus many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Patricia Ward, a brother, Matthew Ward, and his father-in-law, Bill Paulus.
Mark was a graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School, served in the U.S. Army. He was a truck driver for Quick Tab II and a member of the Eagles. He enjoyed fishing on Lake Erie, loud music and having a good time.
Visitation will be 3-6 p.m. Saturday, March 18, 2017 followed by the Memorial service at 6 p.m. at the Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883, 419-447-3113. The Seneca County United Veteran’s Council will perform military rites at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to The Seneca County United Veteran’s Council in care of the funeral home.
