Marilyn Genevieve Hossler, age 69 years of CR 15, Tiffin, Ohio died at 8:35 A.M. Monday, January 3, 2005 in Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin. She was born on September 16, 1935 to Morris V. and Pauline (Sendelbach) Thom. Her father passed away at an early age, and she was raised by her mother and step-father, Charles Eckert. They are all deceased. On May 12, 1956 in St. Joseph’s Rectory, she married Charles Eugene Hossler. He died on April 16, 2002.
She is survived by 2 sons, Dan (Sue) Hossler of Shelby, Ohio; Tim (Rose) Hossler of Bradenton, Florida, 2 daughters, Deb (Lanny) Morrow; Suzette Hossler and her fiancé, Dennis Breyman, all of Tiffin; 8 grandchildren, Tonya Brickner, Jeff Morrow, Joshua Morrow, Charles Hossler, Eric Hossler, Kelsey Sewell, Aaron Patrick, & Renee Pearce; 5 great grandchildren, Brent Brickner, Samantha Brickner, Lucas Brickner, Brandon Barnett, & Bradley Barnett.
Mrs. Hossler was a 1952 Calvert High School graduate. She had retired after working for 30 years at the Tiffin Developmental Center where she was employed as a therapeutic program worker. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Msgr. Edward Dunn will celebrate the funeral Mass. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
