Marilyn Mae Miller

Marilyn Mae Miller, 78, of Tiffin, died 2:45 p.m. Monday, November, 14, 2016, at Mercy-St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, Ohio.  She was born April 23, 1938, in Fremont to Clyde O. and Estella (Havens) Mitchell.

She married Stephen A. Miller, November 27, 1958, in St. Mary Church, Millersville and he survives.  Other survivors include a son, Jeff (Cathy) Miller of Endicott, New York; two daughters, Vicki (Mike) Dennis of Kansas, Ohio; Lisa (Don Whittaker) McPherson, of Grand Rapids, Michigan; five grandchildren, Jamie (Andy) Babcock, Katie (Eric) Chalfin, Joshua (Olivia) Dennis, Stephen (Cassie) Miller, Emily Miller; two great grandchildren, Daxton Miller, Evelyn Babcock, and Nora Belle Chalfin on the way; her beloved cat, Tootsie; a brother, Don (Faye) Mitchell of Burgoon; and a brother-in-law. Harold Sass, of Port Clinton.

She is preceded in death by three brothers, Haven, Willis and Dale Mitchell; and a sister, Norma Sass.

Marilyn was a 1956 Jackson–Burgoon High School graduate.  She was a homemaker and owner of Miller Lawn Service.  She was a member of Faith United Methodist church, the American Rose Society and she was an avid rose grower.

Visitation with family and friends will be 10 a.m. to Noon, Thursday, November 17, 2016, at Faith United Methodist Church, Tiffin.

Funeral service will follow at Noon, officiated by Rev. Jeff Lanzer at Faith U.M.C.  Burial will take place at Smith Cemetery at a later date.
