Margy A. (Baker) Borer

Margy A. Borer, of New Riegel, died Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay, Ohio.  She was born March 14, 1942, in Tiffin, to Stanley and Nina L. (Feasel) Baker.  She married Thomas G. Borer, June 11, 1960, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin.  He died March 31, 2007.

Survivors include three sons, Charles J. Borer, Thomas J. (Nancy) Borer and William G. Borer all of New Riegel; two daughters, Brenda S. (David) Conley of New Riegel, and Julie A. (Rusty) Adkins of Tiffin; 14 grandchildren, Garrett, Paul (Samantha), Sarah, Nicholas, Jacob, Olivia, Riley, Jeremy, Kaitlyn, Donald (Michelle), Elizabeth (Drew), Joshua, Erica, Brandi; six great-grandchildren, Paiden, Anastasia, Jacob, Lucas, Logan, Connor; and two more great-grandchildren on the way; a brother James F. (Wendy) Baker of Tiffin; and three sisters, Diana Murray of Arizona, Mary DeMars and Carol (Tom) Traunero, both of Tiffin.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Gale Borer Busack, and a brother, John Allen Baker, Sr.

Margy was a graduate of Columbian High School, a homemaker and grandmother, a member of All Saints Parish and its Rosary Altar Society, the Moose Lodge, and the Catholic Order of Foresters, all in New Riegel.  Margy loved family gatherings, any reason to get together.  The more the merrier was her motto.  She was truly mom and grandma to all.  She will be missed by many.

Visitation with family and friends will be 2:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, January 8, 2017, at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113.

The funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m.  Monday, January 9, 2017, at All Saints Parish, New Riegel officiated by Rev. Timothy Kummerer. The Rosary will be recited 20 minutes prior to the Mass at the church.  Burial will follow in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery, New Riegel.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Hospice or the Humane Society of Seneca County in care of the funeral home.
