Margaret "Peg" Weddell, age 95,formerly of 25 Leitner Ave. Tiffin, Ohio, died November 5, 2002 at St. Francis Home. She was born on September 15, 1907 in Niles, Ohio to Ruben and Clara (Willman) Nigh. She married R. B. Weddell on June 26, 1929 in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin. He died on December 18, 1995. Other survivors include, 1 son, Eugene (Jeanette) Weddell of White Lake, Michigan; 1 daughter, Carolyn Huffman of Tiffin, Ohio; 7 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren; She is preceded by 1 brother, Paul Nigh and 1 sister, Mildred Von Whil .
Mrs. Weddell had graduated from Bowling Green Normal School. She retired as a one room school teacher on TR 111. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, a former Navy Mother, and a member of Y-Wives, Rosary Altar Society and she volunteered at Seneca County Opportunity Center.
Burial will take place in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Mary Church Flower Fund.
