Margaret M. Kimmet, age 80, of W. TR 152 Kansas, Ohio died at 11:08 am Tuesday, February 19, 2008 in Tiffin Mercy Hospital. She was born on December 1, 1927 in Tiffin to the late Henry and Loretta (Roth) Wise. On April 19, 1947 in St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin she married Donald R. Kimmet and he survives.
Other survivors include six sons, Joseph (Susan) Kimmet of Tiffin, Danny (Roberta) Kimmet of Fremont, Francis (Theresa) Kimmet of Kansas, Gerald (Mary Ann) Kimmet of Tiffin, Leonard (Elizabeth) Kimmet of Tiffin, Michael (Vicki) Kimmet of Tiffin; two daughters, Joan (Mac) McAuliffe of Bettsville, Lois (Steve) Hollister of Manchester, MI; 18 grandchildren; five step grandchildren; eight step-great grandchildren; two brothers, Ambrose (Barb) Wise of Tiffin, James H. (Mary) Wise of McCutchenville; three sisters, Sister Marie Catherine Wise, RSM of Fremont, Imelda (James) Clouse of New Riegel, Alma Wurm of Bloomville; and a sister-in-law, Doris Wise of Tiffin.
She is preceded in death by three brothers, Bernard Wise, Louis Wise and Luke Wise; three sisters, Kathleen Wise, Adaline Heitz and Henrietta Wise; two sons-in-law, Kermit Brion and David Depp; two brothers-in-law, Bernard Wurm and Leo Heitz.
Margaret was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a homemaker, a member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, and its Rosary Altar Society. The Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 am Saturday, February 23, 2008 in St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, Liberty Township with the Rev. Art Niewiadomski officiating. The rosary will be recited 15 minutes prior to the Mass. Burial will be in St. Andrew’s Cemetery.
Friends and family may visit on Friday, February 22 from 2-4 and 6-9 pm at Traunero Funeral Home, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113. There will be a wake service at 7:30 pm at the funeral home.
