She was born in Tiffin March 19, 1933, to Harry C. and R. Evelyn (Frederick) Tarlton. She married Howard R. Lyman September 13, 1952 in Angola, Indiana. He died in 1974.
Survivors include a son, Kevin R. (Sherry) Lyman of Tiffin, and a daughter, Laura Lee Pellegrini of Salem; two grandchildren, Russell Lyman and Noel Thomas Pellegrini; and two brothers, Robert E. Tarlton of Montana, and Larry L. Tarlton of California.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Anna Louise Grasley.
Mrs. Lyman was a 1951 graduate of Columbian High School and retired in 1994 as a customer counter clerk at United Parcel Service, having worked there for 17 years. She was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses.
Private family services will be held, with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
