Lyola Corrine Lauer, 86, of New Riegel, Ohio, died September 10, 2002. She was born to Phillip and Ida (Elchert) Koby on January 8, 1916 in New Riegel. On May 4, 1940 she married Robert N. Lauer at St. Michael Church in Findlay. He died on May 31, 1995.
She is survived by one son, Stephen (Julie) Lauer, two daughters, Janice Tincher and Mrs. Joseph (Judy) Thiry; 6 Grandchildren, Timothy & Todd Thiry, Sara & Susan Tincher, and Jason & Jeremy Lauer; 5 Great Grandchildren, Lindsay & Lauren Tincher, and Joshua, Justin, & Jessica Thiry.
She was preceded by two brothers, Lester Koby and Eldon Koby.
She was a New Riegel High School graduate, a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, and the Ladies of the Moose. She worked at General Electric Company in Tiffin for 30 years, retiring in 1978.
The Rosary will be recited 15 minutes prior to the Funeral Mass at the church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery immediately following.
