Luke G. Clouse, 77, of W. CR 11, Tiffin, OH died at 1:55 p.m., Sunday, October 15, 2006 at his residence. He was born April 25, 1929 in Seneca County to the late Alex and Bertha (Neiderkohr) Clouse. On June 28, 1952 in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin, he married Carolyn Mang and she survives.
Other survivors include 3 sons; Jim (Debra) Clouse, Tiffin, Tim Clouse, Tiffin, Phillip(Jill) Clouse, Chandler, Arizona, 4 daughters; Linda (Dave) Otte, Fostoria, Cathy (Steve) Painter, Fostoria, Lori (Mike) Huth, Tiffin, Mary “Betsy’ (Steffen) Zeigler, Fostoria, daughter-in-law Bernadine Clouse/Kirian, Tiffin, 18 grandchildren, 2 Step grandchildren, 6 great grand children, 9 step great grand children, a brother Don Clouse, Tiffin and a sister Mickey Dininger of Tiffin.
He was preceded in death by a son, Denny Clouse, sisters Florence Arbogast and Virginia Thom, a brother Wilfred Clouse, and grandchildren Cheyenne and Cody Clouse.
Mr. Clouse was a farmer, owner and operator of Clouse’s Machine & Repair, and had worked at Basic Inc. for 38 years where he was a member of their Quarter Century Club. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
A Funeral Mass will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 19, 2006 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin with the Rev. David Ross officiating. Burial will take place immediately following in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. The rosary will be recited 15 minutes prior to the mass.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at Traunero Funeral Home, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, OH 44883 (419) 447-3113.
