Mrs. Flechtner was a 1935 New Riegel High School graduate. She was a long time employee of Meyer Drug and Lane Drug Stores, retiring in 1983. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was a dedicated person who volunteered for many church and community organizations. The amazing thing about Lucy is that she still found time to be a devoted mother and grandmother.
Lucy had a love of family, church, volunteering, and caring for others. Her happiness was giving and she enjoyed most helping others, writing cards and letters, and growing flowers to share with others.
