Lorena C. Simpkins, age 62, of Beechwood Dr. died at 11:15 a.m., Thursday, March 12, 2009 in Cleveland University Hospital.
Lorena was born July 18, 1946 to the late Leroy and LaVerne Searcy. She married Allan Simpkins in 1963, and they later divorced.
She is survived by two sons, Michael (Tia) Simpkins of Arizona, and Perry (Sandra) Simpkins of Hilliard, OH; two daughters, Judy Riley of Tiffin, Pam (Pat Ratcliff) Simpkins of Fremont; 10 grandchildren, Nathan, Lindsay, Mager, Zeph, Browning, Zane, Alex, Seth, Conlan, and Julieann; one brother, Randy Searcy of California; and two sisters, Shirley and Martha, both of California.
Lorena was preceded in death by three brothers, Richard, Roy and Michael Searcy.
Lorena was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

The funeral service will be 7 p.m., Monday, March 16, 2009 at Traunero Funeral Home, with Rev. Gary Walters officiating.
