Lois I. Schnarrenberger, age 79, of John Street, Tiffin, Ohio died at 9:35 P.M., Thursday, January 5, 2006 in Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin. She was born on June 26, 1926 in Bucyrus, Ohio to the late Harold J. and Alvina (Baumgartner) Lust. On May 4, 1947 in Bucyrus, she married James E. Schnarrenberger. He survives.
Other survivors include, 2 daughters Joyce (Peter) Schmidt of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and Jill (William) Ranelle of Ft. Worth, Texas; 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; 2 brothers, Kenneth Lust, and Donald Lust both of Bucyrus.
She is preceded in death by 1 brother, Richard Lust and 1 sister, Elva Mae Daiber.
Mrs. Schnarrenberger was a graduate of Holmes-Liberty High School, Bucyrus. She had retired as an office secretary for J. F. Walker Company since 1978. She was a member of First Lutheran Church, an active volunteer at the Ritz Theatre. She enjoyed sewing and did alterations for many in the community, including the Columbian High School Band.
Visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00 AM Saturday, January 14, 2006 at First Lutheran Church. The Funeral Service will be officiated by Rev. Richard Hoffman at 11:00 AM Saturday at First Lutheran. Burial will take place in Fairmont Cemetery.
