Lisa A. Ekuerugbe

Lisa A. Ekuerugbe, 55, of Massillon, Ohio, died at 6:21 p.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at University Hospital, Cleveland. 

 She was born May 12, 1969, in Findlay, to Raymond L. and Elaine (Hoover) McGinnis. She married Ovoke Ekuerugbe, December 23, 2021, in Kyiv, Ukraine. She dearly loved her husband, and he survives in Nigeria.

 Other survivors include her mother, Elaine Cantu of Tiffin; a daughter, Liv Klug of Massillon, a sister, Cheryl Mawhirter of Tiffin; several nieces and nephews, and her grand-dog, Bucky. She was affectionately called “Aunt Psi.”

 She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond McGinnis.

 Lisa was a 1987 Hopewell-Loudon High School graduate. She was a retail administrator at Infocision in Akron. Lisa enjoyed the ocean, animals, traveling, watching paranormal T.V. shows, going to the beach and she had an artistic flair. Lisa made friends everywhere she went. She always had a positive outlook and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

 Visitation for family and friends will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 23, 2024, followed by the funeral at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Phil Moerdyk officiating, all at TRAUNERO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113.
