Linda J. Janson, age 56, of Chicago, Illinois, formerly of Tiffin, Ohio, died April 18, 2003. She was born December 8, 1946 in Findlay, Ohio, to George K. and M. Jean (McDonald) Janson. Her father survives in Fostoria, Ohio, and her mother survives in Tiffin. She is also survived by a brother, Jerry (Jessica) Janson, a sister, Jodi (Charles) Smenda, nieces and nephews, Cameron, Amanda, Ashligh, Jordan, & Nicholas; a great-niece, Elise Rose.
Miss Janson was a 1965 Columbian High School graduate and a 1969 Otterbein College graduate. She retired as a flight attendant for United Airlines. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church, Tiffin, and was an avid sports enthusiast and a big Chicago Bulls and Cubs fan.
Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge (Egbert) Cemetery, rural Tiffin. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society for breast cancer research, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
