Leona C. Mogle

Leona C. Mogle, 83, of Tiffin, died Sunday, July 14, 2024, at her residence. She was born February 21, 1941, in Frenchtown, Ohio to Aloysius and Mildred (Fox) Lucius. She married John L. Mogle, November 24, 1962, in Tiffin and he survives.

Other survivors include a son, Jason (Melissa) Mogle of Cincinnati; two daughters, Jeanne (Jay) Hoy of Bloomville and Beverly Mier of Delaware, Ohio; eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Herman (Pat) Lucius and Harold (Pat) Lucius both of Tiffin; four sisters, Inez Lauterbur and Viola (John) Ink both of Tiffin, Oleta (Tom) Miller of Republic and Marie Lucius of Delaware, Ohio.

She is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Mark Lucius, Vincent Lucius, Ralph Lucius, and Leonard Lucius; and two sisters, Mary Jo Cramer and Theresa Zeigler.

Leona attended Tiffin Columbian High School and graduated from Sentinel Vocational School while in her 50s. She worked in food service at Mercy Hospital and was a Past President of the Eagles Auxiliary.
