Tiffin

Lee M. Huffman, 39, of Tiffin, Ohio, passed away at 4:04 a.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay, surrounded by love and family. He was born July 18, 1985, in Tiffin to Richard and Theresa (Carp) Huffman of Tiffin, and they survive.

He is also survived by his five siblings: Bradley (Chastidy) Huffman of Columbus, OH; Angela (Mark) McGinnis of Fostoria, OH; Michelle (Brett) Burd of Republic, OH; Eric Huffman of Granville, OH; and Adam (Katie) Huffman of Powell, OH. Lee was the best uncle anyone could ask for and was deeply loved by his nine nieces and nephews: Eva, Abbott, Alex, Grant, Fischer, Spencer, Emerson, Theodore, and Fitzgerald, along with many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his beloved nephew, Zachary McGinnis.

He was a 2004 Bettsville High School graduate and earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati.

Lee also leaves behind many cherished friends, extended family, and colleagues from Lowe’s, where he was a loyal and hardworking team member. A special thank you goes out to the compassionate team at St. Vincent’s in Toledo, whose care and kindness meant so much during Lee’s final months. Lee was quiet, loyal, and deeply caring. He didn’t need to be the center of attention — he simply showed up for the people he loved time and time again. He was an avid sports fan who cheered faithfully for the Cleveland Guardians, Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Cavaliers, and San Francisco 49ers. His love for sports ran so deep that he saved his PTO every year just to take off Thursdays and Fridays during March Madness — never missing a game. One of Lee’s favorite pastimes was the annual Huffman Family Camping Trip to Hocking Hills — a tradition filled with hiking, games, laughter, and connection. He treasured those moments, and so did everyone who got to share them with him.

Above all, Lee was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend. His steady presence, quiet strength, and caring heart will be missed more than words can express.

To honor the way he lived, we leave you with a quote that reflects his quiet dedication and love for life:

“You can’t always be the loudest voice, but you can always be the most consistent.” – Tony Dungy
