Lawrence L. Lucius, 85, of St. Francis Home, formerly of W. Market Street, Tiffin, Ohio died at 9:55 a.m., Monday, May 1, 2006. He was born April 4, 1921 to the late Joseph W. and Cora M. (Jacoby) Lucius.
He is survived by 1 brother, Carl Lucius of Tucson, AZ. and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 7 brothers: Joseph, Clarence, Ray, Henry, Otto , Ed and Urban Lucius.
Mr. Lucius, a 1939 graduate of Calvert High School, was a retired Safety Service Director for the City of Tiffin and a former employee of the State of Ohio Bureau of Liquor Control, Bureau of Workers Compensation, and Bureau of Employment.
He received the Bronze Star while serving in the United States Army during WWII.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Rev. James K. Say will officiate the graveside services on Friday, May 5, 2006 at 10:00 at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. The United Veterans Council of Seneca County will perform military rites at the graveside. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
