Larry J. Kirian, age 55, of Tiffin, Ohio, died November 10, 2003. He was born August 31, 1948, in Tiffin, to Joseph and Joan (Buchman) Kirian. His mother survives in Tiffin. On November 7, 1970, at Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church, Carey, Ohio, he married Joann Dubois, and she survives. Also surviving are two sons, Chris Kirian and Greg (Elizabeth) Kirian, three daughters, Susan (Jeff) Williams, Dr. Peggy Kirian, and Becky (Craig) Spencer; five grandchildren; a brother, Dennis Kirian; and two sisters, Diane Moyer and Nancy Bowe. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph.
Mr. Kirian was the owner of Larry’s Lawn Service since 1995. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where he served as lector, server, and Eucharistic Minister. He was President of the Tiffin Serra Club, and a member of the Knights of Columbus, Amvets, and the National Farmers Organization. He was a 1966 Calvert High School graduate and served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, with military rites by the United Veterans Council. Memorials may be made to Calvert High School, Tiffin Serra Club, or St. Joseph Church.
