LaDonna Charlotte Sehlhorst, 77, of Jefferson Street, Tiffin, died at 10:21 A.M. Monday, October 24, 2005 at St. Vincent -Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, Ohio. She was born December 19, 1927 in Logan County, Ohio to the late Dewey and Minnie May (Spillers) Lindsay. She married Kenneth McCafferty on October 25, 1943. He is deceased. She then married Robert Mowery and he is also deceased. On May 9, 1995, in Tiffin, she married Frank Sehlhorst and he survives.
Other survivors include 2 sons, Kenneth R. (Evelyn) McCafferty of Oakcreek, WI; Fred (Vicki) McCafferty of Belle Center, Ohio; 2 daughters, Lila “Jean” (John) Allmon of Rushsylvania, Ohio; and Robin S. (Gary) Betchner of West Allis, WI; 5 Step-daughters; Diane Creamer of Pioneer, Ohio; Sue Hill and Cathy Ricard both of Findlay, Ohio; Donna (Joe) Powers, Millbury, Ohio; Cindy (Tyrone) Morrow, Stafford, Virginia; 3 Stepsons; Robert Sehlhorst, Plano TX; Anthony (Paula) Sehlhorst, Bloomville, Ohio; and David (Julie) Sehlhorst of Ottawa, Ohio; 16 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, 16 step grandchildren and 13 step great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Carl (Lila) Snedaker of Brooksville, Ohio; Darold Snedaker of Russells Point, Ohio; 3 sisters, Gwen Holderman, of Adkins, TX; Gerry Campbell of Russells Point, Ohio; Lela (Chuck) Purcell of Kenton, Ohio. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Carolyn Palmer and Mary Frances Snedaker.
Mrs. Sehlhorst retired as a nurse’s aide and was a member of the American Legion Post 169 Auxiliary and a life member of Amvets Post 48. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting.
