Kenneth Charles Shuff, of Tiffin, Ohio, age 77, died at 3:05 p.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at The Heritage House Nursing Home in Findlay, Ohio after battling cancer and other health problems for the past two years. He was born July 18, 1928 to Charles B. and Pauline (Close) Shuff in Tiffin, Ohio. He was raised by his father and step-mother, Rachel (Neikirk) Shuff. On January 28, 1956 he married Lois (Popwell) Shuff in Alabama and she survives.
Also surviving are five children: Sandra (Delmar) Swander of Maumee, Ohio, Sharon (Dan) Waters of Tiffin, Ohio, Charles Shuff of Tiffin, Ohio, Donna (Frank) Walters of Vista, CA., and Judy (Troy) Olson of Woodstock, GA., nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and a sister, Evelyn (Carl) Graham of Arcadia, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Richard (Dick) Shuff.
Mr. Shuff, was a 1946 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School, he had worked at Paul and Dick’s Supermarket and retired in 1989 from Meadow Gold Dairy in Tiffin as an office manager, where he was a wonderful salesman. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Tiffin and a past member of Eagles. He was witty, charming and enjoyed woodworking, golfing, sports and enjoyed watching Tiffin Little League Baseball.
There will be a gathering of friends and family one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the First Presbyterian Church in Tiffin. The service will be officiated by Rev. Richard Mahlann. Memorial contributions may be made to Financial Aid for Cancer Treatment (F.A.C.T.) in Tiffin, First Presbyterian Church, or a charity of the donor’s choice in care of Traunero Funeral Home, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883.
