Kathryn V. Bennett, age 96, of Rosewood Drive, Tiffin, died at 6:15 pm Saturday, November 29, 2008, at her residence.
She was born November 2, 1912, in Fremont, to the late Harry and Leona (Rice) Fought. On November 23, 1932, she married Donald Bennett, who died May 22, 1963.
Survivors include a son, Donald (Madonna) Bennett, Jr., and a daughter, Marjorie Bennett, both of Tiffin; seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren; and a brother, Irvin Fought of Clyde.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Fought, and a sister, Viola Kovac.
Mrs. Bennett was a retired seamstress at Howard Zinks, Fremont. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin, the Rosary Altar Society, the Legion of Mary, and the Rosary Makers.
Funeral Mass will be 11:30 am Tuesday, December 2, 2008, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin, with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. Burial will follow in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Fremont.
