Kathryn G. Lucius, age 89, of Tiffin, Ohio, died July 27, 2001. She was born February 8, 1912 in Franks, Ohio, to Albert and Anna (Hosman) Gerber. She was married to Robert Crist, who died in 1948. She later married William Lucius, who died in 1988. She is survived by a step-daughter, Marilyn Brickner, a step-son, William Lucius, a sister, Edith Bluhm, 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lucius, a 1930 Sandusky High School graduate, retired in 1936 as a dietician at Good Samaritan Hospital in Sandusky, Ohio. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin, its Rosary Altar Society, Poor Souls Society, St. Francis Auxiliary, and was a volunteer at St. Joseph School for many years. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Francis Home, Tiffin, the American Diabetes Foundation, or the American Cancer Society.
