Karen Ann Margraf, age 56, of Tiffin, Ohio, died at 4:50 p.m. Tuesday, August 24, 2004, at her residence. She was born to Harold and Catherine (Terry) Barnhart who survive in Fostoria, Ohio. She married Timothy M. Margraf on July 18, 1975 in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin. He survives.
Other survivors include, 2 sons, Joshua Margraf of Seattle, Washington; James Margraf at home; 3 daughters, Sara Margraf of Seattle Washington; Amanda (Richard ) Bogart of Tiffin, and Gabrielle Margraf at home; 2 grandchildren, Julianna and Felix Bogart; 3 brothers, Thomas Barnhart, of Lima, Ohio, Eric Barnhart of Florida, and Alex Barnhart of Tiffin, 1 sister, Beverly Barnhart of Washington D.C. She is preceded in death by 1 brother, Christopher Barnhart.
Mrs. Margraf was a 1966 Calvert High School graduate, 1970 Marion College Graduate in Indianapolis, IN; and she attended Bowling Green State University for graduate study.
She had retired in 2002 after teaching for 31 years at Old Fort High School. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Retired Teachers Association, Head of Ohio Energy Project at Old Fort High School, Head of Quiz Bowl at Old Fort High School, Editor of St. Joseph Intercom Newsletter and Member of Befrienders Group at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Rev. James K. Say will officiate the funeral Mass. Burial will take place immediately following the funeral Mass in the parish cemetery.
