Juanita E. Herron, age 85, of N. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio, died at 10:50 am, Monday, December 5, 2005, at St. Vincent-Mercy Medical Center, Toledo.
She was born March 16, 1920, in Gore, Ohio, to the late Clifford B. and Laura E. (Beagle) Williamson. On November 20, 1939, in Wellsburg, WV, she married Dean B. Herron, who died November 1, 2005.
Surviving are three sons, Robert (Diane) Herron of Carrollton, Ohio, Patrick (Rachel) Herron of Tiffin, and David (Kris) Herron of Greenwood, IN; a daughter Margie (Dan) Best of Elida, Ohio; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bernard B. And Chester Williamson, and two sisters, Violet Everly and Marcilette Schaub, and a great grandson, Andrew Herron.
Mrs. Herron was a graduate of the Sistersville, West Virginia High School, and she retired from the Tiffin Developmental Center after 20 years of service. She was a member of Sycamore United Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 9, 2005, at the Traunero Funeral Home, 214 S. Monroe St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113. Rev. Eric McGlade will officiate, with burial following in Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore. Friends may call Thursday, December 8, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
