John W. “Jack” Cooper, age 76, of Lawndale Drive, Tiffin, Ohio, died at 5:25 am, Sunday, August 26, 2007, at Mercy Hospital of Tiffin.
He was born on December 24, 1930 in Tiffin to the late William and Charlotte (Wagner) Cooper. On November 5, 1983 in Tiffin, he married Gertrude “Carol” Morgan and she survives.
Other survivors include a son, John T. Cooper of Tiffin; a step-son Ed (Nancy) Morgan of Sidney, Ohio; a step-daughter, Barbara Barnhart of Orient, Ohio; two grandchildren; a brother, Robert Cooper of Tiffin; and two sisters, Mary Brunswick of Tiffin, and Sue Brown of Oregon.
He is preceded in death by a brother, David Cooper.
Mr. Cooper had retired from the Toledo Blade as a route deliveryman.
There will be no visitation or services for Mr. Cooper, per his request.
