John Louis Kuebler, age 91, of S. Washington St., Tiffin, died at 9:10 am, Thursday, July 27, 2006, at St. Francis Home, Tiffin.
He was born June 3, 1915, in Tiffin, to the late Albert C. and Olivia (Burger) Kuebler. On August 31, 1946, in Chicago, he married Anne L. Reiter, who died March 17, 2004.
Surviving are a son, Dr. J. Philip (Carol) Kuebler of Worthington, Ohio; a daughter, Victoria Anne (Jim) Meek of Roswell, Georgia; three grandchildren, John and Danny Kuebler, and Katie Meek; a brother, Paul R. Kuebler of Detroit, Michigan, and a sister, Kathryn Kuebler of Tiffin. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Byrnes.
Mr. Kuebler was a graduate of St. Joseph College in Indiana and was the retired owner of Kuebler Shoe Store of Tiffin. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, the Tiffin Elks, and SCORE (Retired Executives).
A funeral Mass will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, July 29, 2006, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Rev. James K. Say officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call today, Friday, July 28, from 6 to 8 pm, at Traunero Funeral Home, 214 S. Monroe St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113, and one hour prior to Mass Saturday at the church. church.
