John B. Gabringer, age 87, of Tiffin, died at 12:41 pm, Saturday, August 4, 2007, at St. Francis Home.
He was born April 6, 1920, in Tiffin, to the late Bernard and Corrine (Wangler) Gabringer.
He is survived by two brothers, Norbert J. Gabringer of Sylvania, Ohio and Paul E. (Elizabeth) Gabringer of Centerville, Ohio; two sisters, Joan (Vernon) Gilsdorf of Tiffin, and Jane (Bud) Thiel of Upper Sandusky.
Mr. Gabringer had served in the United States Army during WWII. He had retired from US Glass Company in Tiffin. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society.
Funeral Mass will be 11 am Monday, August 6, 2007 at St. Francis Home Chapel, with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. Friends may call 10:30 – 11:00 am Monday at St. Francis Home Chapel. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery with military rites performed at the gravesite.
