John Eric Meyers

John Eric Meyers, 48 of Tiffin, died at 5:25 p.m. Friday, June 26, 2020, at his residence.

He was born September 29, 1971, in Tiffin to Steven and Marlene (Welborn) Meyers.  He married Jennifer Newsome, June 25, 2005, in Fort Seneca and she survives.

Other survivors include 3 sons, Nathan Thomas, of Hicksville, Alexander  Meyers of New Riegel, Kody Meyers of Tiffin; two daughters, Vanessa Meyers of New Riegel, and Sadie Meyers of Tiffin; a grandson, Elijah Balliet; a brother, Todd Goodale, of Findlay; three sisters, Lisa Kimmet of Tiffin, and Tammy Hook of Fostoria, and Dawn Perez of Findlay.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Tina Dyer, a nephew Christopher Newsome.

He was a self-employed Auto Mechanic, a member of New Beginnings Assembly of God, Tiffin.  He loved and cared for his family including his many nieces and nephews.

A walk-through visitation for family and friends will be 3-6 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe St. Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113. Visitors are asked to wear masks, social distance as they walk through, pay respects, and exit without lingering.
