John Allen Baker, Sr. 62, of Findlay, died at 5:11 p.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2017, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. He was born August 28, 1954, in Tiffin, to Stanley and Nina L. (Feasel) Baker. He married Melissa Kuhn April 9, 2016, in Findlay and she survives.
Other survivors include four sons, David (Jodi) Baker of Findlay, John (Teri) Baker of Vine Grove, Kentucky, Charles (Tricia) Baker of Carey and Thomas Baker of Tiffin; 16 grandchildren, a great-grandchild; a brother, James F. (Wendy) Baker of Tiffin; and three sisters, Mary DeMars, Diana Murray, and Carol (Tom) Traunero, all of Tiffin.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers-in-law, Thomas Borer and Terrance DeMars; and his sister, Margy A. Borer, died hours following John.
John was a 1973 Columbian High School graduate. He retired from the City of Tiffin Public Works Department. He was a member of All Saints Parish, New Riegel
Visitation with family and friends will be Friday, January 6, 2017, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm, at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe St. Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113.
The funeral Mass will be 10 am Saturday, January 7, 2017, at All Saints Parish, New Riegel, officiated by Rev. Timothy Kummerer. The Rosary will be recited 20 minutes prior to the Mass at the church.
