Joan Mary Kirian, 88, of Tiffin died at 3:00 AM Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at Good Shepherd Home, Fostoria.
Joan was born December 8, 1927, in Tiffin to John and Leona (Smith) Buchman. She married Joseph J. Kirian, October 18, 1947, and he died January 14, 1980.
Survivors include a son, Dennis (Carolyn) Kirian of Tiffin; two daughters, Diane (Daryl) Moyer of Tiffin, and Nancy (Scott) Bowe of Fremont; a daughter-in-law, Joanne Kirian of Tiffin; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Alice Poplawski of South Bend, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Larry Kirian; a great-grandson, Ryan Liebrecht; and a sister, Marcella Walker.
Joan was a 1945 graduate of Calvert High School, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a homemaker.
Visitation will be from 10 -11 a.m. Friday, September 9, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with her Mass to follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
