Jennie Lynne Dicken, age 59, Fort Seneca, died at 11:58 am Tuesday, December 15, 2009, at Arbors Nursing Home of Clyde.
She was born April 12, 1950, in Fremont, to Robert and Mary Ann (Rosenberger) Hersh. Her father is deceased, and her mother survives in Fort Seneca. She married Paul Dicken April 5, 1980, in Old Fort, and he also survives in Fort Seneca.
Other survivors include two brothers, Robert A. Hersh of Woodlawn, Tenn., and Ernest Lee Hersh of Tiffin. Jennie Lynne is also survived by one niece, three nephews, two step nieces, a step nephew, a step great niece and a step great nephew.
Besides her father, she is also preceded by two uncles.
Jennie Lynne was a 1968 graduate of Old Fort High School. She retired from Honeywell in Fostoria as a production worker. She enjoyed scrapbooking and selling TLC Kanvas bags. She loved all of her pets.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 20, 2009, from 2 to 8 pm, at Traunero Funeral Home, 214 South Monroe St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419)447-3113. Funeral services will be 11 am Monday, December 21, at the funeral home, with Rev. Barry Bordenkircher officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmont Cemetery. Friends may also call one hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any cancer research organization of the donor’s choice in care of Traunero Funeral Home.
