James (Dick) R. Sexton, 79, Central Ave., Tiffin, OH died at 1:30 a.m., Monday, July 24, 2006 in Kindred Hospital, Louisville, KY. He was born on September 7, 1926 in Bellefontaine, OH to the late Michael and Marguerite (Lacey) Sexton. On July 10, 1948 in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin he married Kathleen Delores Kuhn. She died March 25, 2006.
He is survived by a daughter, Anne (Bob) Jones, LaGrange, KY, 3 grandchildren; Ian (Pilar) Schank, Adam (Sharon) Schank, Nathan Schank, and 1 great grand daughter, Rory Schank.
He was preceded in death by 2 sisters; Mary Sparks and Ruth Anne Sexton.
Mr. Sexton retired on August 26, 1987 as an Expediter at National Machinery Company. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. He was an avid golfer.
A Funeral Mass will be officiated by Rev. James K. Say at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 27, 2006 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at Traunero Funeral Home, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, OH 44883 (419) 447-3113.
The 4th Degree Knights of Columbus will stand guard. The Rosary will be recited 15 minutes prior to the Mass at the church. National Machinery Quarter Century club will have services at 7:00 pm.
