James M. "Flash" Wickham, age 86 years, of 575 E. St. Rt. 18 died at 7:27 p.m. Monday, November 3, 2003 in Mercy Hospital. He was born on July 22, 1917 to Robert J. and Sally ( Mills) Wickham in Floyd County, Virginia. He married Arlene M. Hohman on June 25, 1971 in New Riegel, Ohio. She survives.
Other survivors include 1 son, James A. (Stephanie) Wickham of tiffin and 2 grandchildren, Tyler James and Logan Hunter Wickham. He was preceded in death by 1 brother, Robert L. Wickham and 1 sister, Gladys Richardson.
Mr. Wickham had retired from NAPA in 2000. He also was a cab drive, worked at General Electric Company and Riegel Foods. He was in the United States Navy where he served in Pearl Harbor aboard the USS Nevada. He was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans.
There will be no funeral service, nor burial as his body was donated to the Medical College of Ohio.
