James (Jim) F. Marquart, 79, of Tiffin, died 6:40 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2016, at Hospice of North West Ohio, Perrysburg.
He was born October 10, 1936, in New Washington, Ohio to Lloyd and Mildred Mary(Gerstenberger) Marquart. He married June E. (Breighner) Iannantuono, October 1, 1977, in Dunquat, Ohio and she survives.
Other survivors include a son, James E. Marquart of Sycamore, a daughter, Tracy L. (Jeff) Watson of McCutchenville; four step children, Frank (Barb) Iannantuono, of Tiffin, Dana (Pat) Jernigan of Mansfield, Texas, Julie Beth Elchert of Tiffin, Douglas (Julie) Iannantuono of Toledo; 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild on the way; and two sisters, Marilyn (Richard) Kochel of Attica, and Diane (Les) Williams of Colorado.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Jim was a graduate of Sycamore High School. He was a retired tool and die maker at National Machinery. He was a member of Family of Faith Lutheran Church, Seneca County Antique Farm Machinery Organization, the Ford Fordson Collector’s Association and he was a Wyandot County Sheriff’s Mounted Deputy. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, woodworking, hunting, showing his antique tractor, and he loved horses and dogs.
Visitation for family and friends will be 1-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to his funeral at the church.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at Family of Faith Lutheran Church 870 W. Market Street, (Tiffin Mall, enter through the back) with Rev. Philip Moerdyk officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore.
Memorial contributions may be made to Family of Faith Church in care of the funeral home.
