Jaimie Michelle Turner, 44, of Tiffin, Ohio, died at 11:55 PM, Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at the University of Toledo Medical Center, Toledo, Ohio, after a long and courageous battle with multiple sclerosis.
Michelle was born April, 15, 1964 in Tucson, AZ to William and Jaimie (Nations) Turner, and they reside in Tucson. Michelle graduated from Sabino High School in Tucson, in 1982. She attended the University of Arizona.
In 1989 Michelle met her soul mate, Mark S. Rumschlag, and moved to Tiffin, Ohio to spend the rest of her life with him. She loved Ohio’s four seasons and spending time on Lake Erie.
Michelle was a life-long animal lover and showed livestock in the Tanque Verde 4-H Club in Tucson. Michelle was a member of the Flag Corps in both high school and college. She was an avid Arizona Wildcats fan throughout her life.
Michelle always kept up to date on politics and current events, but she also enjoyed a good laugh, and watching a funny movie. One of her main passions was gardening, as she loved planning and arranging her flower gardens. She also enjoyed shopping on E-Bay and buying gifts for family and friends. Michelle was very generous and gave to many charities and organizations.
She was a feisty redhead, who could always be counted upon to give her opinion. She was very spirited and so much fun to be around. Even through her disability, she was such a source of energy and a true inspiration to all those who knew her. Her friends and family will miss her terribly.
Survivors include: one sister, Loralie (Mike) Balda, a nephew, Nic Balda; a niece, Alea Balda; and her paternal grandmother, Mildred Turner all of Tucson; many cousins and friends in Tucson and Ohio, and her Himalayan cat, Ito. Our special thanks to her dearest friends, Gail, Julie and Sharon.
Preceding her in death are her maternal grandparents, Troy and Della Nations; and her paternal grandfather, Jack Turner; and her uncle, Jack Turner, Jr.
