Iva M (Thomas) Rohr

Iva M. Rohr, age 92, of Tiffin, died at 10:28 a.m. Friday, November 19, 2021, at the Willows at Tiffin.  She was born July 20, 1929, in Cleveland, Ohio to George and Margaret (Jennings) Thomas.  She married Jerome Rohr October 16, 1948, in Greenup, Kentucky.  He died in 1969.

Survivors include a son, Douglas (Nancy) Rohr of Cincinnati, two daughters, Linda Rohr of Kansas, and Leslie (Michael) Rohr Scherer of Tiffin; four grandchildren, Jessica and Andrew Scherer, Ahleah and Maxwell Rohr; three great-grandchildren, Molly Scherer, Michael and Sloane Dickey.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Iva was a graduate of Shore High School in Euclid, Ohio.  She worked for Dr. Michael G. Scherer for many years.

There will be no visitation.  Private funeral services will be at Old Trinity Episcopal Church.  The entombment will take place in the church’s columbarium. Arrangements have been entrusted to Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory.
