Howard W. Beisner

Howard W. Beisner, 84, of Tiffin, died at 8:09 p.m. Monday, June 19, 2023, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Bowling Green, Ohio.  He was born April 12, 1939, in Tiffin to Howard W. and Dorothy (Fink) Beisner.  He married Janet K. Shuman June 16, 1963, at Trinity United Church of Christ, Tiffin, and she survives.

His son, Timothy Beisner of Atlanta, Georgia also survives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his stepfather, George Siegrist.

Howard was a Columbian High School graduate.  He served in the United States Navy.  He was a police officer, barber, and retired from his business that he owned Electro Alarms Co. in Tiffin.  He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, the Masonic Lodge, Zenobia Tiffin Hornets, and was a Boy Scout Leader.

Visitation for family and friends will be 12 noon – 2 p.m. Friday, June 23, 2023, followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. officiated by Rev. Karsten Snitker, all at TRAUNERO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419) 447-3113.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery with the United Veterans of Seneca County performing military rites at the grave.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Church of Christ or to the Tiffin Glass Museum.
