Helen Rose Wise, 88, formerly of TR 98, Tiffin, died on March 10, 2008 at 1:23pm at the Fostoria Community Hospital Emergency Room.
Mrs. Wise was born on February 19, 1920 to the late Alfred and Marie (Friend) Walton in Tiffin, Ohio. On May 18, 1940, she married Ray A. Wise in Tiffin and he preceded her in death on March 30, 1986.
She is survived by two sons, James (Janet) Wise and Paul (Kathy) Wise both of Tiffin; a daughter, Debra (Dennis) Clouse of Tiffin; eight grandchildren, Steve (Deb) Wise, Mike (Margaret) Wise, Ron (Sue) Wise, Tim (Tina) Wise, Scott (Stephanie) Wise, Shelly (Scott) Wade, David (Becky) Clouse, and Douglas (Allison) Clouse; 12 great-grandchildren; and a brother Paul Walton of Westlake, Ohio.
Mrs. Wise was also preceded in death by a brother, Forest Walton.
She was a graduate of Scipio-Republic High School and retired from Golden Acre Turkey Farm. Mrs. Wise was a member of Union United Church of Christ in Bascom, Hopewell Farm Women’s Club, and Faithful Followers at church.
Funeral services will be at 11am on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at Traunero Funeral Home, 214 S. Monroe Street Tiffin, Ohio 44883 419-447-3113 with the Rev. Roy Howell officiating. Burial will be immediately following in Seneca Memory Gardens.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 4 to 9pm on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at the funeral home.
