Helene F. Diemer, 91, of 182 St. Francis Avenue, Tiffin, died at 8:10 p.m. on Monday, December 15, 2003. She was born on July 30, 1912 in Stenay, France to the late Jean Baptiste and Clara (Leblond) Mathieu. On July 9, 1945 she married John H. Diemer. He died on November 9, 1974.
She is survived by special friends, Rosette Terry and family and Carolyn Fetzer and family, all of Tiffin. She was preceded by a sister, Odette Mathieu.
Mrs. Diemer worked as a clerk at LaSalle’s Department Store for 20 years. She retired in 1966. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tiffin and she loved the outdoors and working in her garden.
Burial will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband, John.
