Helena Theresa "Tina" Woelke, age 44 years, of Tiffin, Ohio, Saturday, September 13, 2003, at her residence of natural causes. She was born February 13, 1959, in Tiffin, to Charles "Bump" and Marshia (Huth) Elchert. Her father survives in Tiffin, and her mother died in 2001. On July 14, 1985, in New Orleans, LA, she married Perry "Buddy" Woelke, and he survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Angela Kopp; 2 grandchildren, Hailey and Helena Cortez; a brother, Charles Richard "Rich" Elchert; 3 sisters, Diane (Tim) Tiell, Sharon (David) Conley, and Beth (Daniel) Dell. She was preceded in death by a brother, Edmund Ley Elchert.
Mrs. Woelke retired as a Master Chief Petty Officer after 22 years in the United States Navy. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin, and the Amvets Post 48. She was a 1977 graduate of Columbian High School.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, with military rites by the U.S. Navy. Memorials may be made to Community Hospice Care of Tiffin.
