Harold C. Reinhart, age 100, of Main St., Tiffin, died at 3:47 pm Sunday, December 27, 2009, at Elmwood at the Springs, Green Springs.
He was born August 4, 1909, in Tiffin, to the late Michael and Jennie (Gillig) Reinhart. He married Frances E. Welty September 28, 1935, in St. Joseph Catholic Church. She preceded him in death September 25, 1986.
Survivors include two sons, Robert W. (Marjorie) Reinhart of Genoa, Ohio, and Charles M. (Carol) Reinhart of Plymouth, Ohio; seven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and a sister, Dolores Seislove of Tiffin.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Timothy Reinhart, and his twin brother, Francis Reinhart.
Mr. Reinhart was a 1927 graduate of Calvert High School. He retired in 1972 after 45 years as a draftsman at National Machinery. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Quarter Century Club, Holy Name Society, and the Calvert Boosters.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 pm, Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at Traunero Funeral Home, 214 S. Monroe St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883 (419)447-3113. A Wake Service will be at 3:45 pm, and the Quarter Century Club will meet at 7 pm.
Prayers will be said at 12:30 pm, Thursday, December 31, 2009 at the funeral home, followed by the funeral Mass at 1:00 pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. The rosary will be recited 20 minutes prior to the Mass.
