Geraldine Ann Payne, 62, of Tiffin, Ohio, died November 22, 2001. She was born March 17, 1939, in Tiffin, to Francis C. and Berniece (Kuhn) Schetter. She was the widow of Leo Payne. Surviving are a son, Douglas C. McIntyre, daughters, Debora Ann Gressman and Diane Marie Claar, grandchildren, Aaron and Nathan Gressman, Rachel, Amanda, and David Claar III, and Steven and Ashley McIntyre, a brother, James Schetter, and sisters, Christine Breidenbach, Lucille Rice, Kathleen Keefe, and Marilyn (Cookie) Kastner. She was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Schetter, a sister, Julia Tiell, and twin grandsons, Jason Anthony and Jonathon David Gressman. Mrs. Payne was a 1957 graduate of Tiffin Calvert High School, and a 1978 graduate of Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. She was a licensed practical nurse at Mercy Hospital, Tiffin. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, was Co-President of its Rosary Altar Society, the Church Choir, vice regent of the Daughters of Isabella, a member of the Calvert 1957 Class Club, the Calvert Alumni Assn., and the Calvert Band. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Church, Calvert High School, or Community Hospice Care of Tiffin.
