Gary Guy Flechtner, 63, of Tiffin, died at his residence at 12:38 a.m. on Tuesday, July 17, 2001. He was born to Clifford V. and Dorothy (Mohr) Flechtner on March 30, 1938. His mother survives in Tiffin. On January 21, 1957 he married Marilynn Armstrong in Angola, Indiana. She survives in Tiffin.
Other survivors include, two sons, Gary Guy Flechtner and Gregg Charles Flechtner; three daughters, Gloria Lynn Focht, Mrs. Ed (Geri) Theis, and Mrs. Dennis (Gwynn) Wickert; 6 Grandchildren, Aaron Clifford Flechtner, Thomas Michael Flechtner, Christine Marie Focht, Christopher David Gahris, Joy Danielle Flechtner, and Kyle Thomas Flechtner.
He was a 1956 graduate of Columbian High School and a member of First Christian Church. He was retired from the Tiffin Developmental Center as a stationary engineer. He was a member of the Seneca Radio Club and the Tornado Athletic Boosters.
Burial will take place immediately following the funeral service at Seneca Memory Gardens.
