Frederick R. Daniel, 90, of Gross Street, Tiffin, died Friday morning, August 27, 2004, at his residence. He was born on November 2, 1913 to Edward and Cecelia (Bogner) Daniel, in Tiffin. On April 19, 1941, he married Florence Albright in St. Joseph Catholic Church. She died on March 17, 1996.
He is survived by one son, Frederick R. Daniel, of Sarasota, Florida; one daughter, Judith (Gerald) Grose, of Findlay; five grandchildren, Jeff Grose, Jill Rachels, Julie Decker, Nathan Daniel, and Gideon Daniel; three Great Grandchildren, Andrew Wagner, Evan Decker, and Mason Decker; and one Step Great Grandson, Chase Rachels.
He was preceded by one brother, Herman Daniel, and five sisters, Agnes Daniel, Alma Daniel, Marcella Farrell, Edna Margraf, and Margaret Frankart.
Mr. Daniel was a Columbian High School graduate and had worked at National Machinery Company as a supervisor, retiring in 1973. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, and the Quarter Century Club at National Machinery.
There will be a Wake Service on Monday evening during calling hours. Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery immediately following the Funeral Mass at the church. Contributions may be made to the Tiffin-Seneca Public Library.
