Francis L. Gase, age 75, of S. Sandusky Street, Tiffin, Ohio died at 2:15 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2005 at the Ohio Veteran’s Home, Sandusky, Ohio. He was born on October 12, 1929 in tiffin, Ohio to Cletus J. and Irene (Boes) Gase. He is survived by 2 brothers, Richard (Martha) Gase and Russell (Peg) Gase both of Tiffin, Ohio; 2 sisters, Joann (Ray) Weaver, Carey, Ohio; Barbara Mullennex of Tiffin, Ohio and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 1 brother, Lawrence Gase.
Mr. Gase graduated from Calvert High School in 1948. He retired as a security guard and from the Seneca County Highway Department. He served for more than 25 years in both the U.S. Army and Air Force. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin, and the Knights of Columbus, Third Degree.
The Funeral Mass will be concelebrated by the Rev. Mark Weaver and Rev. James Steinle. Burial will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery with military rites conducted by the United Veteran’s Council of Seneca County. Memorials may be made to the Ohio Veteran’s Home.
