Francis E. (Fran) Bouillon, age 46 of rural New Riegel died at 9:40 p.m. Thursday evening, January 7, 2010 in his home while under Hospice care. Fran was an inspiration to all during his nine-month illness.
He was born December 22, 1963 at Mercy Tiffin Hospital to the late Edmund (Jim) Bouillon and Mary Alice (Smith) Bouillon. His mother survives in New Riegel. He married Laura Welly September 23, 1989 at Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church in Carey.
He is survived by his wife; his mother; a brother, Tom (Donna) Bouillon, of New Riegel; six sisters, Kathy (Rick) Bunge of Lambertville, Mich., Dorothy (Gary) Hausman, of Watkinsville, Ga., Carolyn Bouillon of New Riegel, Diane Bouillon of Maumee, Linda Molyneux of Springhill, Tenn. and Vicki (Todd) Riley of Oregon, Ohio; and his in laws, Walter and Mildred Welly; Lisa Welly all of Carey; Raymond (Gayle) Welly of Toledo, and Ron Welly of Las Vegas, Nev.; 11 nieces and nephews; six great nieces and nephews; and family and friends.
Fran was a 1982 New Riegel High School graduate. He had been employed by Krogers for 27 years, most recently as head meat cutter in Findlay. Fran was a member of All Saints Parish, New Riegel. He enjoyed volleyball, John Deere Tractors, farming, gardening and was an Ohio State University fan.
Family and friends may call from 2-8 p.m., Sunday January 10, 2010. A wake service will be held at 1:45 p.m. all at Traunero Funeral Home, 214 South Monroe St., Tiffin, Ohio, 44883, 419-447-3113.
Prayers will be said at 9:15 a.m., Monday, January 11, 2010 at the funeral home followed by the funeral Mass at All Saints Parish, New Riegel at 10 a.m. The Rev. Randy Gesige will officiate. The rosary will be recited 20 minutes prior to the Mass. Burial will be immediately following in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice or the Kidney Foundation of Northwest Ohio in care of the funeral home.
