Frances N. (Luca) Pentony

Frances N. Pentony, 88, of Loveland, Ohio, formerly of Tiffin, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, July 28, 2023 in Blue Ash, Ohio.

She was born to Nicholas and Edith (Deluzio) Luca on Tuesday, December 25, 1934, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Fran was a great cook, all things Italian. She was known to also make the best potato salad and Thanksgiving stuffing. She was always ready for a good shopping trip, and loved spending time in her garden, tending to the flowers.

She is survived by her four children, James Jr. (Karen) of Indio CA, Kevin (Diana) of Tiffin, OH, Sean of Indio, CA, and Colleen (Rod) Caswell of Loveland, OH, six grandchildren; Sara (Brandon) Bytnar of Naples FL, Melissa Baker of Columbus, OH, Sarah (Jesse) Adan of Indio, CA, Jake (Rachel) Baker of Hilliard, OH, Riley Caswell, of Cincinnati,  OH, and Sydney Caswell of Aurora, IN, and two great-granddaughters; Emmy and Audrey Bytner.

Fran is preceded in death by her husband, James F. (Jim) Pentony, and her parents, Nicholas and Edith Luca.

Funeral Mass for both Fran and Jim will be 10 am Friday, September 22, 2023, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with burial following in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, Blue Ash, or St. Francis Home in Tiffin.
